Abstract

We propose in the article to study the response of the Habacuc to the problem of violence raised in history as consequence of imperialism and the arrogance of power. We made a reading of the whole book, based on the structure we consider for the same, noting the peaks that suggest any kind of violence. This subject, which we studied, came up to us long ago, as consequence of the textual analysis of 1.12, which implied positions different; therefore, we are aware of this textual problem, of our motion for a resolution and the hermeneutical implications significant in the book's message. At the end of the article, we return to focus on the problem of violence, analyzing the proposal and the theological value of the book.
