A heterogeneidade da Septuaginta é, às vezes, ignorada na pesquisa exegética e teológica da Bíblia. A Septuaginta apresenta, porém, caraterísticas que variam conforme cada livro que dela faz parte. O objetivo deste artigo é mostrar o estado da pesquisa sobre a LXX para cada obra deste corpus, bem como os pontos ainda em debate e, assim, ilustrar a multiplicidade que compõe a LXX. Esta heterogeneidade com relação à situação textual, linguística e, em alguns casos, teológica de cada livro da LXX deve ser levada em conta pelo biblista que dela pretende fazer uso.
