Abstract

The heterogeneity of the Septuagint is sometimes ignored in the exegetical
and theological study of the Bible. However, the Septuagint displays features
that vary according to each book that it contains. The objective of this article is to
present the state of the research on the LXX of each work in this corpus, just as the
points still in debate and thus, to show the multiplicity that constitutes the LXX.
This heterogeneity concerning the textual, linguistic and, in some cases, theological
character of each book of the LXX must be taken into account by the biblical
scholar intending to use it.
