Este artículo aborda la relación de Pablo con Israel; más concretamente, cuál es el papel que tenía su misión a los gentiles en el contexto de su relación con Israel. En primer lugar, se presentan brevemente algunas de las respuestas que las diferentes perspectivas de estudios paulinos han dado sobre el tema, para ofrecer, en segundo lugar, una respuesta basada en el análisis de tres textos: Gal 3–4; Rom 11 y Rom 15. Al final se hacen unas sugerencias para su lectura actual.
