Abstract

Reading Mercedes Navarro is always a pleasure, a challenge and a learning occasion and this book confirms these sensations. It is a work that meets the academic requirements of a good study, but at the same time reveals a deep personal involvement with the Mariological theme. Perhaps proof of this involvement is also the inclusion on the cover of a fragment of an oil painting on cardboard, of his own authorship.
