This work reproduces a doctoral thesis defended at the University of San Dámaso in Madrid. The A. develops a study of textual criticism that starts from the problem manifested in the translation of Is 35,8, a verse considered as a crux interpreum. The difficulty of understanding the TM is clearly reflected in modern translations. Several current versions are compared (Spanish, Italian, French and German) in which all the translators make different decisions, "this variety drives us to investigate thoroughly the problems they have faced"
