This is the most frequent translation of Job 2:10a. There is no justification for the conditional, let alone for the questioning, others translate: "Yes, the good we accept from Elohim, then we must certainly also accept the evil." Thus, in order not to lose the traditional meaning, the text is run over. Indeed, where would it come from "then we must certainly"?
The translation of the Hebrew text, according to its original, must not have the conditional onset or the final interrogation, and it sounds: "We receive good from God, not evil!"
