Abstract

The figure of the great biblical character Moses occupies a very important not only in the OT but also in the NT and, therefore, not it is strange that it attracted the attention of the Christian authors of the first hour.

Looking at other themes in the work of Basil of Caesarea, I was struck by the frequency with which this one refers to Moses: much more than his friend Nacianceno, although without dedicating a book especially, like his brother did.

I would like to offer here some observations - by way of simple notes - on the references that the shepherd of Caesarea makes in his works to Moses.
