The underlying question that has guided the research I'm about to share with you in these meetings is this: what was the imposition that determined the development of the tradition about Jesus? I am interested, about everything, that part of that tradition that would later give rise to the Gospels canonical. Of course, I am well aware that during the period other books were composed about Jesus and the Church. who are also indebted to that tradition. However, my inquiry will be limited to the four canonical gospels, because the question it raises the "development" of this tradition is closely related to the The subsequent reception process, which concluded with the selection of the four gospels.
