"Mirarán al que traspasaron"
El cumplimiento de Za 12,10 en el evangelio de Juan

El cuarto evangelio tiene un dinamismo en el que se va develando progresivamente la identidad de Jesús con un dramatismo particular y una tensión dirigidos hacia “su hora”. Al llegar esa “hora”, cuando Jesús es crucificado y ante la escena de su transfixión, el evangelista cita el texto Za 12,10 dando testimonio del cumplimiento de esta profecía. Los motivos y temas empleados por este profeta tienen un eco y una ampliación en el cuarto evangelio que contribuyen a la revelación de la identidad divina y mesiánica de Jesús, rey y sacerdote de la nueva alianza, y su efecto santificador en aquellos que creen en él.
