Abstract

The board of directors of the Biblical Association of Argentina has entrusted me, from this year, with the direction of the Biblical Magazine, after Bishop Luis Rivas expressed his desire to put this task that he had carried out with so much dedication into the hands of another since 2002. Under his direction, the magazine has established itself in that new appearance that it had been acquiring since the eighties. As in a self-fulfilling prophecy, he himself announced it a few years ago: "Everything suggests that, without losing interest in spreading the Bible that characterized the activity of Argentine biblical scholars from the beginning, it is now entering a new stage in which the task of research and publications will have more relevance ”.
