The story of Susana, narrated in Dan 13 of Theodotion, tells how a woman
is unjustly accused of adultery by her victimizers and is saved by the intervention
of God through Daniel. It is a moving text that questions the status quo of a society
that allows abuse, corruption and sexist violence and forces us to take a position
in the face of these abuses. This work offers a contribution to the study of the story
from the application of the analysis of the narrative method and pointing out some
juridical-legal topics and other aspects related to gender violence.
