Violence, Women, Synoptic GospelsAbstract
Sacred texts reflect the human experience, where violence and the search
for its overcoming are realities. In the Synoptic Gospels, there is violence expressed
from the description or denunciation, through justifications, but also its interdiction
and peaceful relations projects. With respect to the violence suffered by women,
one observes the sexual division of space, exploitation of labor, exploitation of
goods, androcentrism, poverty, marginalization. There is still violence throughout
the formative process of the Synoptic Gospels, understanding, from Bakhtin, the discourse of Matthew and Luke as dialogical in the use of Mark’s discourse, when comparing the feminine roles of the parallel versions one can see the strategies for its decrease.
