The book seems to be both the fruit of a thesis in Re biblica defended at the Biblical Institute in Rome (Una civitas libera e il vangelo), directed by Dean P. Béchard - who makes the presentation (7-9), and another in jurisprudence, directed by Mariagrazia Bianchini, author of the Postface (173-175) As the title indicates, the A. makes a complete exegesis of the text of Acts 17 which includes consideration of the historical and legal elements referring to a civitas libera. The presentation
of the play is very well taken care of. We have detected few spelling errors (for example, when using the Spanish on p. 136 n. 187 and p. 139).
