Resumen

A partir de los desarrollos historiográficos producidos durante las últimas tres décadas en el campo de los estudios bíblicos y arqueológicos del Levante meridional, este trabajo realiza un llamamiento para establecer una sociología del conocimiento sistemática y comprensiva que atienda a las condiciones de producción institucional de conocimiento sobre la Biblia hebrea/el Antiguo Testamento y la historia de Israel/Palestina, así como de su reproducción a nivel de los discursos internacionales (que involucran reuniones académicas y proyectos de investigación), abordando cuestiones de memorias e identidades nacionales y realidades políticas en el pasado y en el presente de la región.
